Profile of the Academy in Italy

Today the National Mountain Bike Academy is the most important European association devoted to the organization and promotion of activities related to the sport of mountain biking.

Our Association has been up and running officially for around ten years, full of experiments and activities throughout Italy.

For about four years the Academy has been known in the world of sports as the “Italian Cycle Federation’s Academy for Off Road Cyclists”. In particular, in collaboration with several provincial administrations and the relative educational structures, training seminars have been organized in which over 15,000 students participated in one year.

The cultural, educational and recreational activities are also the product of a close collaboration with both public and private entities and institutions focused on the conservation, as well as the preservation, of the environment and the local cultural heritage (TCI Touring Club Italiano, CAI Club Alpino Italiano, FAI Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano, etc.).
